ONE SAVIOR

God is holy, and His law reveals His perfect standard. His commands show us how we are called to love Him and love others—not only through our actions, but also through our thoughts, words, and motives. “Whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all” (James 2:10, NKJV).

Sin is breaking God’s law. Every lie, hateful thought, selfish choice, act of disobedience, and failure to do what is right falls short of His standard. Every person has sinned, and sin separates us from God. “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23, NKJV).

To stand before a holy God, we need perfect righteousness—but none of us has it on our own. Good works, religion, and personal effort cannot erase our guilt or make us clean. “There is none righteous, no, not one” (Romans 3:10, NKJV). We need a righteousness that only God can provide.

God sees every life completely and judges with perfect truth and justice. Nothing is hidden from Him, and every person will answer for sin. “It is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment” (Hebrews 9:27, NKJV). We cannot avoid judgment by comparing ourselves with others.

Hell is the final consequence of rejecting God—a real and eternal separation from Him. God does not delight in anyone being lost; He warns us because He is loving and just, and He calls everyone to repent. “These will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life” (Matthew 25:46, NKJV).

At the cross, Jesus took the judgment our sins deserved. The sinless Son of God died in our place, was buried, and rose again so we could be forgiven and made right with God. We are saved by turning from sin and trusting in Jesus alone. “Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God” (1 Peter 3:18, NKJV).

Jesus has done what we could never do for ourselves. Turn from sin, place your faith in His death and resurrection, and receive the forgiveness and new life God offers. “Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out” (Acts 3:19, NKJV). The question is not whether we are good enough—it is whether we will trust the Savior who is.
